In conclusion and after installation of the Y0401.7AC GENUINE BUELL REAR LED TAIL LIGHT AND LENS illumination is more than expected.
However even though it's offered up for all XB models 2003-2010 it does not extend a license plate lens to fill the gap left after removing the stock assembly. This leaves me with an open port under the housing on a FireBolt. All my wiring is soldered, heat shrink wrapped, and a new water tight disconnect jack so I'm not really concerned for myself but buyers should be aware of this shortcoming if purchasing for a Firebolt.
