    Post Just Aquired a 2009 1125R

    Hello everyone.

    Just joined the forum. I recently aquired a 2009 Buell 1125R

    New battery, but bike not charging! Can anyone out there give me any insight?

    Stator and voltage regulator issues were a problem with these bikes but once replaced they usually last.

    I had the same issue, replaced with an aftermarket stator and all was well. This site is a good start:

    Yes, the 1125's had charging system issues, BUT you should start by actually diagnosing it. Before you spend $600 and then find a fuse blown.
