Not many "issues" with the 2010's as the last model made they had the latest updates done.
Is it doing anything weird? If not, I'd just ride it...
I would be very concerned about being 8 years old and never ridden though. Even at 10 times that mileage I'd recommend complete fluid changes (flush the tank and injectors before you try to start it!!!...fork oil, brake fluid, oil, primary) and most the rubber as well (fork seals, check the MFG date on the tires and hope they aren't OEM!) but the belt should be ok. Wheel bearings should be changed and I'd take out the steering head bearings and check for pitting but you might as well upgrade to tapered ones from All Balls while they're out.
These are solid, analog, bikes, but sitting around and not riding is the worst thing you can do. Even if it sits on a Battery tender and that thing doesn't kill the battery, a bunch of dry starts and revving in the garage is painful for bearings, washes out rings, fouls plugs, and add acidity to the crankcase oil if not properly warmed up.
It's a fun ride and fairly rare, swap the wearable parts and start riding it as much as possible! Then she'll treat you well
