Those EBC brakes generate a lot of dust. I'm going to try ceramic SBS brakes

Some of us use the rear brake to keep the front end down under acceleration. Only if you have a EBR

I use rear brake and throttle simultaneously to reduce power.

HEY! I haven't placed the order yet, I knew one of you would say something to make me think about this. I have white rims and if the ceramic help keep them cleaner I want more feed back here. Does anyone use the ceramic pads and second TPEHAK's statement about EBC and lots of dust?

You are going to get dust know matter what pad you use and have to clean your rims. For $10.00 you get what you pay for. That all I got to say.

I would get the best pads you can. Brakes are important, No matter the dust level. IMO.

After polishing the brake dust off way too many neglected Buell wheels, I am now in the habit of a quick but thorough wipe down after every ride.

Just replace the pads that are worn. No need to do both ends at the same time, but be SURE to bed them properly! It's a good habit to flush the fluid at the same time.
