    Sorry for the mix up. It was the Speedo that was going haywire. My bike has 5800 miles, and is a 2007. So far so good, with the new sensor installed.

    Mine ended up being bad grounds. The previous owner painted the subframe but didn't clean off the ends of the rails where they bolt to the main frame. Cleaned that up and my speedo is solid now.
