    Need Info on XB12STT

Ok so I have fallen head over heels for my XB9SX...

I now I have my sights set on the XB12STT.

only made two years , production numbers are low.

Is there any real difference on these particular bikes between 07 and 08. I prefer not to deal with some of the EFI nuances of the earlier (pre 08) system but

from all the reading I have done I can't get a definitive answer on the STT other than less than 125 were actually produced for 2008 while 1600 or so were made for 2007

all the specs I find state the the EFI system is DDFI II on both years of production...

If anyone truly knows I would be appreciative.

as a side note if anyone knows of a STT for sale let me know.

Any 2008 and up Buell will have a Thunderstorm engine with a DDFI-3 ECM.
They are worthwhile upgrades, but the 2007 is no slouch.

You can find them, but they aren't normally listed as STT so you have to search all XB's. Good luck, I love mine, neener neener

I have two 07's and love them. Have around 37K on one and about 21 on the other. One I bought new, the other had less than 2K on it. Can only speak for the 07 model year but they have DDFI-2 ECM's and the hardened upgraded oil pump drive gear. Tuned them with the old ECMSpy. Once tuned all the runability issues disappeared. Could probably get more out of it but I'm 68 and don't feel the need. Both bikes run very smooth.

If you have specific questions fire away.
