    Pretty sure they were not for flamethrowers, but you never know...

    The PO was the PO of Mid America HD and acquired the bike new when he was the owner. Sat on the floor for months, then in his heated garage (along with dozens of other bikes) for years.

    No question they are not, just goofing around , If they were with that placement would blow up a Buell muffler. they would need to be placed at the end tips.

    Nah, I got the joke. Fanning the flames, so to speak.

    They look so professionally done, I thought the header came that way. Perfectly aligned, but like I mentioned, one has some soot around it, so it is leaking. Hate to dork with it in case it snaps off or strips.

    On the other hand, I'd replace the header if it were my bike...especially if there are signs of leaking as you point out.
