Epilogue:
I ran out of gas, refilled the tank and the problem started.
I replaced the fuel pump and filter (probably not needed). When I had the fuel pump assembly out I discovered that ground screw had come loose. I replace the screw with a long thin bolt, nut and lock washers. It won't come loose again.
Probably the intermittent fuel delivery caused the ECM to increase the fuel to my rear cylinder.
Didn't have to replace the Crank Position Sensor, damn.
Didn't have to replace the Throttle Position Sensor, double damn.
Probably didn't have to replace the fuel pump either, the problem was likely the loose ground screw.
Anyhow, now I have spare parts and the BuellTooth dongle and EcmDroid is fantastic.
Cheers, and happy riding.

Where is this screw located? On the fuel pump? Any pictures?

Wow, all that and it was a loose ground, that sucks ! Well, at least your learning how to trouble shoot it and now you have some parts that you might need in the future but hopefully not.
