    Aluminium Polished Primary Cover

I am new to this forum but have owned my xb12r since 05 (original owner). Just recently i had to order a new primary cover and have been tossing around the idea of removing the metallic finish paint and going with a polished look instead. Has any one done this or know of any picture around of it?

Thanks for the picture. I think I am going to polish my old primary and put it on and see how it turns out before I go ahead on my new one. It is not necessary, it might look better though.

I decided not to do it. I started on the old cover and it was more than I was willing to do
I wanted to get it all put back together again and do some riding before winter comes. Thanks for the picture though, maybe some other time I will tackle this again.

It's a HUGE undertaking without the proper tools, You'll never do that job well by hand. You may be surprised how reasonable it can be to have a professional do it. Have you asked?
