sick! love the linkage! i got a pretty big customization ahead of me this winter.
As some of you know I set out to alter my Firebolt a bit and did so to what I wanted quite well. I got the Ss swing arm done tonight and can't wait to post so here is what I have so far and I will take a couple day shots tomorrow.
I was going to put on my newly powder coated primary but due to some oxygen bubbles in the upper inspection cover some splatter got on it so they have to redo that piece so it will get put on during the week. Then even more pics.
Enjoy, and please feel free to tell me how you think it looks good or bad I would like to know what all feel on this project.
I do have to design a new rear shock extension since the one I made had to be altered to avoid it from flipping under pressure. So that will get done but other wise the whole setup is pretty much done.

nice any other plans? /nice bagged s10...
Not to many other plans other than ride the piss out of it.
Not to bad if you compare what I was originally going for to what I finished with.
Nice!
Next step? 12 throttle body? 12 header? 12 ECM? Tune? Pipe?
Hey, I like what you've come up with xtreme. But what's this?
Not my cup-o-tea. But to each his own, if your satisfied thas all that matters. I do think its very unique, I wonder how it will effect the performance and handling.
I think you should run the SS rear shock, just to be on the safe side..
that thing circled is a bracket to fit a stock R shock, and give it the height I wanted.
An Ss shock would lift my bike like 4", no thanks.
As far as saftey the bracket it made of solid aluminum that is 4x thicker than the stock lower shock bracket. I do however plan to make a different one that has a cleaner design.
