It actually looks like the 9 I found was just sold today. Their post is still on Cylctrader but it was removed from the website. Lets hope the 12 is clean bike and I can strike a deal. They are offering $2000 for my bike as a trade in, which is about what I would get by selling it.

Here is the xb9 I was looking at if anyone is curious: https://www.cycletrader.com/dealers/...B9SX-120999063
I called this morning and they said it sold for $2995. I wish I was whoever got that amazing deal.

    I currently ride a 2012 CBR 250r and a 1993 Virago 1100. I am selling the CBR.

Is the seat from the S the tallest?

Edit: Will a xb12ss seat fit on the SCG?

    Low Seat

    Skyline/Standard S/Sx

The taller Skyline seat from the 07-08 SX

The Ss/STT seats will not fit the standard S models

    Still not an amazing deal.
    2004-2007 XB12 for 1500-3000
    2008 XB12 for 2000-3500
    2009-2010 XB12 for 3000-6000

XB9's bring just slightly less than a 12. So, $2995 I would say is top dollar for that bike, but being Hero Blue, it's worth it, but not an amazing deal

SS/STT/XT/X all share a slightly "longer" frame. The steering angle is slightly relaxed and designed around a longer swing arm, longer seat rails. Short answer is no, not without modifying the seat rails to fit a short frame or vice versa.

The seat on the 9 on the craigslist ad was swapped for a standard seat. Take a look here to see what it would look like stock.

That price is not to special, you should be able to find similar at close to that price. I wouldn't worry about the seat to much, you can always have the stock one recovered to suit you for $100-$150. You may get an inch or two out of the seat, swap the bars for slightly taller aftermarket bars (limited to cable length) all with the goal of being comfortable for your 6'1" frame.

The cheapest I have found any xb9 or xb12 in my area is about $3800

Thanks man! Do you think lowered footpegs would be to low on the SCG model? I am not a very aggressive rider, but that might be because of the bike I am currently riding.

Please don't say this is the bike you are looking at for $4500 with bed liner on the entire bike....
