Dude I do not know how you put up with the 82nds BS. They are here and in charge of the fob I am at and they are constantly coming up with dumb rules that you would not get anywhere else in the army. Before they got here 101st was in charge and they had normal rules that made since and fell in line with stuff the rest of the army would consider acceptable. Then 82nd came here and outlawed the Boonie cap, expected everyone to have a certain color pt belt(which only there people had), outlawed the army combat shirt, and when it got cold outlawed the fleece cap.

Lol I'm with 1st Cav, We were under 25th ID and they were pretty strict on thier own soldiers but we ran around how ever we wanted. Those dues had full elbow knee pads and DAPS, while we were rolling sleeves and un-blousing pants. Boonies are for fags but were allowed, and the pt belt could be any color, a few of my buddies rocked pink and purple just to be asses. God Bless the Infantry! (and their medics)

I used to be in ya'lls finance unit and have my cav combat patch that I will were proudly until I get out. My deployment with them was the best one I was ever in. I got to have a lot of fun with 2-5 cav back in the 04-05 deployment they even let my non-combat mos having self go with them on a mission one time in the back of a Bradley, they did not let me out of the vehicle but it was still really cool and I was in a few fire fights going on pay missions to visit them since they was at war eagle and I was at camp rustmia(prob spelled wrong)

Thanks, I'm getting everything powder coated to match the frame and the exhaust red to match the rims, and some air brushing in a month or so, I gotta do my exhaust mod first.
