Thanks guys..
The pipe diameter is the same but the angle of the inlet where the header fits looks different to the standard muffler..not got this can yet so cant try it..

Yep it will, I am running an xb9 race pipe on my 09 without doing any mods to mount it up.

Mine is a 2008 XT...Have fitted the earlier header too for better flow..will try it later today if I have time to complete reassembly..!
Not sure if I will need to change or remap the ecm though..[cool]

Fired bike up today with race can and wow...Its loud!!!
Bike is in my garage though..Do they fit any baffles in these cans??!
Disconnected active exhaust cable as its not needed on the race can and removed the unit on the airbox too..
Do you guys know if thats ok or do I need to do anything else with the active cable..??

Thanks!!

Just read this today. Might apply to your case.
Check-Engine-Light-On-For-Few-Seconds (http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Buell-Ulysses-XB12x/Troubleshooting/Check-Engine-Light-On-For-Few-Seconds)

just suggests to tie off the cable with a bit of tension to avoid throwing codes (trouble code 21).

quick read, possibly save you time down the road.

Enjoy the new can!
