Does your handle bar vibrates (handle bar going back and forth) when slightly let off your hands at about 30-45mph? I know setting the suspension is important and its fine art. Any suggestions to how to eliminate the vibrations? I remember my Japanese bikes never have this problem. Should I adjust the damping? Preload? Or adjust my head? Thanks guys.

are you talking a high frequency buzz (vibration) at the handlebars or the bike wondering left then right then back again.

if you have a tuber with axle adjusters, ide say your axle is out of alignment

Kal, he posted in the 1125CR thread.

Irule, have you set the bike's suspension up to your weight yet?

Usually it's an oscillation due to the steep steering head angle it really can only be cured truely with a steering dampner.

Yes, I have set the front and rear suspensions according to my weight with gears. So, does everyone's bike do that if only can be cure by steering dampner? I just want to make sure its not a problem rather than just the rake of the front end. Thanks.

It's damper...no "n".
Dampening, is an action word...there is an "n" in that one.

Several things to look at -

1. steering head bearing torque
2. fork tubes at the same height adjustment
3. fork adjustements equal, side to side
4. fork adjustment. Just because it's adjusted for your weight...by the book..doesn't mean it's the best it could be. It's just a starting point
5. tire pressure (front AND rear)
6. tire wear (front AND rear), worn tires will do the same thing
7. front to rear rake. Make sure the rear is slightly higher thAn the rear.

There's a coupla things to look at....
