Anyone knows how many pulses per engine revolution are sent as signal to the tachometer of the xb12r ?

I want to install an RPM switch on my nitrous kit, but I need this info to calibrate it !!!

is it better to set nitrous to throttle full open ..instead of rpm......?

Progressive is better....if you can get it to work. I will do my best to find out some info man.

I'd expect he's looking at a window switch that would add logic in addition to WOT and would turn on the NO2 at 3000 RPM and off at 6500 RPM or something like that.

Yeah wide open can do damage quick. Too iffy of a set up for me. I prefer progressive on anything, whether it bike, car, boat, or whatever....

Guys, I will Both use a wide open throttle switch AND a RPM window switch from 4000 to 6000 rpm.

I am not sure I need progressive since I am only aiming at a 25 hp increase using the MPS dry nitrous spraying in the airbox.

Any advice on the nitrous kit is welcome...But please see if you can get the info about the tachometer pulses...
