I bought this bike last night and am trying to find more information on it. As best as I can tell it is stock, except for the Jardine 'muffler' hanging under it.
It's an 08 1125R. It has the typical 08 25th Anniversery Plate on the triple tree, but Eric Buell's siganture is on top of the air box?
That's another odd thing about this bike. All of the parts that should be black are a blue carbon fiber graphic.
The bike has less than 1300 miles on it.
If anyone has any info or contacts with more info, please let me know.

I did find this article in my travels.
http://www.prweb.com/releases/watertransfer/hydro-dip/prweb1082784.htm
No pics of the carbon print, but one of the camo.
I went to the maufacturer's site. Look at Carb 17 and 14!

Wow nice looking 1125! Looks like you have found and bought a "special" Buell. Sure looks like the same bike as in the articles an the signature seems to be the same. What is the story- where did you find this?

Its hand signed by Erik himself or stamped from the factory? By the way, his name is Erik not Eric....:D

it is most likely his real signature. He is known for signing peoples bikes if you meet him in person and ask him too.

You can just ask him. He is on FaceBook, and is very responsive.

I would think he might actually remember your unique bike. 1. it was recently signed (last couple years) and 2. quality graphic

Well I have a buddy that had a blue carbon fiber "patter" hydrodip on his 08' 1125R. He is from Boise, ID but lost his bike to the bank so it could have gone anywhere really. He had a D&D on it but was too loud so i bought it from him for $140 and gave it to a friend with a CR as a gift. When he lost the 1125R it had the stock exhaust.

I bought the bike from Legend Harley in Silverdale.
I don't know the history or where it came from.

Whoop!
You are the first person to get that! I've used this name since '94.
I haven't had the fortune of attending, but my brother was class of '93.

Hydrodrip did a couple of these bikes. They were trying for a contract with Buell to do a limited edition. Their is a Red carbon fiber look one out there too. The bike never came about though as I remember process was too much to add to the cost of a already 12k bike. Cool look for the 08 though!

I saw that bike when I bought my XB9SX from Legend Silverdale HD in January. They started that thing up for another guy and the whole store rumbled with the exhaust tone! AWESOME! I thought it was cool EB's signature was on there. Of course the HD guys couldn't tell me too much about the bike, but they could tell me that Buells are "pretty damn fast"....DUH!!!:p

Congrats on the hot ride!!
