Nice, looks good. Handlebars would take some getting used to though

any idea about that tail?

Looks like a tail lift, basically just a spacer on the lower tail mounts. If you look at the pegs they are in the stock location so the tail has to be lifted. Thought it may have just been a spring spacer at first.

Here is my bike with a tail lift you can see the lift spacers under the lower tail mounts

Probably just a custom setup, not much available for the blast so I would assume he just made something

yea i'm honestly probably not going to get a blast anyway its just what im going to do if i cant finance an xb9sx and again i may just shell out all the cash at once if i find a good enough deal on a used one because i have a decent amount of riding expereince and also rode a buddies xb12 firebolt a few times which is what made me fall in love with buell

If you have any riding experience you will hate a blast. They are a true beginners bike. Yeah they might be snappy but they are nothing you would want to own, a waste of money IMO, unless you have no need for the added power and just use it basically as a larger moped.

No offense to any of the Blast owners just MHO[smirk]

First your opion is'nt so humble, second, I have learned through a series of communications with EB that the Blast has several things going for it that the bigger bikes can not do as well - the main one being goat trails. Third - as a daily bike the Blast is much more cost efficient than a twin, if properly cared for, and you won't cry buckets if it gets knocked over vs your twin. Last - the Blast is much easier to ride than your twin, making the learning experience more fun, faster, and better.

Perhaps you should hang out more in the twins section than show your ignorance in the singles section.

Yeah, I saw that one coming too. Opinions are one thing, kicking dirt is another.

I know - almost a waste in time - since he is using a stock Blast shock, however, extra oil capacity for long trips could be usefull, and some folks will do anything to get a larger tire on there, even when they end up loosing their handling to get it.

Goat trails - seriously tight 1 lane back road twisties - I live for those, and with but rear-sets, and suspension mods the Blast becomes a star in performance in them, right in there with the super-motos in handling, just not the power, but then that can be turned up as well.
