Hi all, first post on this forum - so g'day from Perth, Australia...

Been going through the forum and can see lots of peeps getting the CRs at bargain prices and I'm kinda feeling ripped off right now as i just paid AUD $15k for a new 2010 CR [confused]

AussieBuellRida, i read you paid $6900 for yours. Was that for a new 2010 CR?

Cheers,
Jayz

first, let me say welcome. Second, thats basically full price for what they use to be here.

Cheers Kyle. Look forward to be part of this community. I like tinkering and being hands on with my bikes and have read some good posts on this forum so far - good work lads!!!

RRP here is AUD $18.5k which is why I jumped in at $15k.

Was offered a new 2009 1125R for $14k ride away but was keen on a CR and 2010 model.

No regrets making the purchase. Would've been nice if it was at half the price as it would give me lots more room for mods!

I would say in Aussie that is a far price I know of a local guy selling his used 2010 for $8900 here in the states, so figure in taxes and what not to ge tthe bike to Aussie and your lookin good., Not to mention there are very few 2010 1125's

But in stand point to full price you actually got it for less than full priice as AUD $15000 is about $12500 in Amer. currency and the 1125's book at $12999

He got the 1125CR which is $11,999, and the 1125R is 12,999, but still

yeah, still figure in the taxes that are payed to export the bike I would say he got a deal. I have heard of guys paying $18000 for an 1125, so in all I say it is a deal since he is half way around the world[smirk]

Btw, the RRP for the 1125R and CR are the same here down under...

Thanks Okey.

It's going to be interesting as I'm purchasing the bike from Sydney and I live 3500 Kms away in Perth. I hope the dealership does the right thing and the bike is in showroom condition (as promised) when it gets to my door in the next 2 weeks.

I've spoken to my local HD dealership and they've confirmed that they will honour warranty claims etc.

The wait is killing me!!! I'm already looking at mods :)

Do you know which dealerships have the new ones for 14k? I have a mate looking to pick one up as well.

FYI to all the Aussies out there

I've called all Aussie dealerships and there aren't any new 2010 1125 CRs in stock. Looks like i picked up the last one!

One of the dealerships in Victoria mentioned that they were getting 12 x brand new XB12SS in August.

There are also a bunch of brand new Ulysses in the ACT.

G'day y'all. Managed to score a brand spanker in a crate-last one in Australia apparently. I'm so stoked!

ABR, you can still ask em and i'll spread the word. Looks like i'm getting a bit of a Buell 1125CR fan base going :) Btw, Peter Stevens weren't rude, just honest.

Okey, sorry to hear about your experience re Frasers. Which dealership are you referring to? The one here in Perth has been nothing but good to me.
