I performed a search on here but nothing came up.[confused] What is everyone using to mount GPS units, iPhones, Droids, etc? Share some pics!

This company has some nice offerings:

Express Mounts (http://www.expressmounts.com/)

Anyone using their products?

Edit: Uh Oh...post 666!!!:p

No I dont. They dont really make anything that fits a firebolt very well. I couldn't find any motorcycle mounts at all on Express mounts during the short time I browsed it.

That's a bummer![down]

I just checked out my friend's RAM setup on his ZRX1200 and it was really cool. It converted 2 of his riser bolts into ball mounts to which he has a GPS and an XM Radio mounted to. [up] I think that will work best for the Lightnings...

I use the Ram Stem mount. Its easy to install, but it takes a little more for a Buell then the instructions show. The stem nut hole on Buells is too small. So you cant put the nut on then insert the whole piece. What i did was cut the rubber piece at the smallest point. Then i forced it into the stem nut hole. I then threaded the screw through the mount and then the rubber piece. To put the nut on I used a 1/4" deep socket and a few extensions and went up from the bottom. The Stem is pretty narrow and it is easy to locate the screw. It is actually very easy. You do need to be creative and fit the extensions on one at a time due to clearance between the fender and bottom tree.

Anyway, its very easy. I also shaved off the 3/4" extension piece on the bottom as its not needed. Basically looks just like the vid below with my garmin nuvi 750. Ram also sells a mount for that which is great and very secure.

O.K. I gonna set free my million dollar idea. I wanna heads up display in my helmet. Like the helicopter gun ships. Maybe just a shield with a plug in. Have tried my wifes Tom Tom on the air box but kinda hard to see and forget about turn by turn.

I use a Ram handlebar mount with an Earthmate PN-20.
The Ram mounts are of a high quality and are very functional. The PN-20 is portable , waterproof, and has Topo, usQuad, Satelite and Aerial imaging available. Great System.

I just installed a Ram mount by replacing the handlebar clamp bolt on my '09 Scg. You will need to go to the hardware store to get a longer bolt since the kit will supply longer metric bolts and we need SAE bolts.

I ordered my mount from cyclegadgets.com and it works well. I also installed the Uly powerpoint harness (that plugs into the accesory plug under the windscreen) on the right side of the headlight bracket. I cut a hole with a hole saw and assembled it there. Now I can easily power the gps and it is fused and runs of the accessory switch.

Sorry, i don't have pics of my bike. The mount is near the bottom of the page on the right side.

I may end up getting this for my phone. Not really sure how the plastic mount will last but I can always beef that up if I have to.

50dro, you will need a SAE 5/16 bolt, can't remember what length though. Do not use the M8 bolts provided or you will cross thread. The 5/16 bolt will fit throught the Ram ball. :D

Thanks! I'm guessing they don't just sell the balls (insert Beavis & Butthead joke here:D ) by themselves?
