I think I might have to buy a shoei now.

that egg-for-a-head is freaking me out. My wife's helmet is a shoei though, and it's definitely a nice helmet.

Yeah, I'm not sure how many bikers will relate to the Fabege' easter egg analogy.

Yeah, I've got a Multitec modular. I absolutely love it, the best $400 I ever spent. It was the only helmet I could find that would fit my odd shaped melon. I'm pretty sure I tried on every helmet that was available in Bismarck.

I'm with Maiden... the egg thing is pretty creepy. Now I'm off to google "Fabege's egg". (no clue)

It's actually Faberge egg (Russian)

Faberge eggs are jeweled Russian eggs that are worth a ton of $

I bounced a Shoei RF-1000 off the ground with my head in it and it did a great job.

Been wearing Shoei helmets both street and dirt for the past 25 years. A comfortable and safe helmet. Got RF-1000 for Buell riding, money well spent, love it also. [up][up]

I was told that a Shoei or Arai are made to take more than one impact since you bounce while doing your rag doll imitation down the road.
