when I traded plastics with freak we called the dealer and new plastics were just under 1k thats for everything but our bikes are Firebolts not Lightnings so the front fairing is obviously cheaper the subframe plastic may be cheaper to so...

Another reason bolt plastics are cheaper is the fact that the bolt tail section is really exspencive.

the only diffrence is the air inlet screen on the newer covers. All thats needed to solve the issue is some tin snips and plasti weld. Just cut the small plastic tabs that hold the gas cap suround off and swap it to the new cover using a lil plasti weld to hold it in place.
