Took me awhile to get the hang of it to but just do a small area at a time, dont do say the whole airbox cover at once. Small areas use the #2 until it`s dry meaning you dont see any more swirls when you go in a circular motion then use a clean cloth to rub it clean then after the whole piece is clean use the #1 polich/cleaner. I just had a epiphony I`m sure I spelled that wrong I am gonna make a Novus how to video lol damn I do have brain I think lol

I had/have a scratch on my seat cowl from my boots when I get on and off. I kicked it once and scratched it. I used the Novus but it doesn't have that shine to it anymore. The cowl is a bit duller than the rest of the bike.

I've used meguires plastic cleaner and polish. It shines alright but I don't think you'll ever get the same luster as stock.

Tried my hand at Novus again this morning with my cowl. Got the scuffs out...but it doesn't have that luster. I then hit it with Turtle Wax ICE. But you can still see where I Novus'd it if you know what your looking for.

its like sanding anything, it works best if you use different grades of polish, and you HAVE to use perfectly clean and soft cotton cloths, if not you're putting scratches back in. If you're almost there you want something that says it will restore opitcal clarity. Like the bottle on the right. And the best tip of all don't buy black plastic bikes. It takes alot of elbow grease. have funhttp://www.buellxb.com/buell_images/4305_20100612173010_L.jpg

my bike has black plastics just traded a member my yellow ones. I like the black better though yellow is easily seen guess I'll just run both HID's now lol I am in the process of getting the stuff gathered up to make a video using Novus hope to post it this week. Below is a link to the product I'm talking about. I got my set at Biker Bob's HD in Taylor Mi for like 20$ for all 3 bottles.
