06-17-2010, 09:59 AM

06-17-2010, 11:05 AM

06-17-2010, 11:12 AM

06-17-2010, 12:11 PM

"Come out next year with a can of Woop ass for everybody"
"only a few miles down on world super bike"

from Jeff May :)

WOOOOOOO!!!! This made my day!

06-17-2010, 12:18 PM
Thanks! I sent Erik and message via FaceBook to see if it was true. I doubt he will confirm it yet but we will just have to see.

06-17-2010, 12:55 PM
I wonder if it will be a limited production bike, just enough to qualify it for AMA.

May said that the B-2 was the fastest bike he has ever ridden .:D[up]

06-17-2010, 01:00 PM
he has been hinting around to it since the h-d fiasco this is just one more hint towards it.

06-17-2010, 01:56 PM
Oh Great...
FS 2009 1125R Must Sell

06-17-2010, 04:16 PM
Oh Great...
FS 2009 1125R Must Sell

HAHAH exactly! Buellxb will turn into a "xb for sale" forum.

06-17-2010, 08:50 PM
Best news I've heard in a while. Thanx for the heads up. [up]

06-17-2010, 09:42 PM
this will be sold thru who? ebr? or can-am?

06-17-2010, 09:58 PM
he did say production bike, not street legal bike correct?

06-17-2010, 11:30 PM
Your right Kalifonia about not saying it would be street legal. To me it sounded like they needed a new street legal bike to base their race bike off of, since they had to base their current race bike off of a 2009 model. I'm not sure how that stuff works, but I'm really glad I heard this!

06-18-2010, 01:13 AM
Wow that is so cool[up] Roll on next year [up]

06-18-2010, 05:27 AM
The link doesn't work for me for some reason...:(

06-18-2010, 01:17 PM
Erik sent me a reply back. Saying "it will be a while, but we won't quit...."

06-18-2010, 02:25 PM
Erik sent me a reply back. Saying "it will be a while, but we won't quit...."

Thanks for the follow through. I didn't expect him to give too much info.

06-19-2010, 11:14 AM
I didn't either but it never hurts to ask. He did say "it's going to take a lot of investors to make all of this happen". I reassured we could all help out it some way all he would have todo is ask. It would be cool to see a company such as EBR that was owned by the riders themselves.

06-19-2010, 11:47 AM
i would invest

06-19-2010, 12:30 PM
i will confess that i would, too.

06-20-2010, 02:21 PM
If every Buell owner invested 1k, that would give him about 137,000,000 million to pay with. We could put Buell back on the map! We can always dream I guess.

06-21-2010, 07:59 AM
I WANT ONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

06-21-2010, 08:35 AM
If every Buell owner invested 1k

Woah! Someone is dreaming! I dont have a $1000 dollars to just give away, then spend another $12k on a new bike.

06-21-2010, 09:11 AM
Woah! Someone is dreaming! I dont have a $1000 dollars to just give away, then spend another $12k on a new bike. if we invest do we get a discount?:)

06-21-2010, 09:27 AM
I'd pay $1000 for stocks then when the company starts selling bikes out the ass it will pay for my new bike on it's own and then some.

06-21-2010, 11:01 AM
Would married guys get a discount?? I can already see that bank account conversation going extremely well... haha

I know one of the general concerns about the Buells everyone has is what happens when all the parts start to dry up. Do you think there's any chance once EBR gets up on it's feet that some parts might start being manufactured by them again? It wouldn't surprise me if HD kept a lock down on parts manufacturing just to continue with their current 'smack in the face' policies, but it would be nice to be able to ride my bike like I really want and not worry about replacing something stupid 10k miles from now. Unfortunately until then, or until i can collect a few parts motors, my bike is just going to be babied. That's not what I bought it for, but still something I'll have to deal with.

06-21-2010, 03:26 PM
I doubt HD holds the patent on the "idea" of oil in the swingarm and fuell in the frame. I'm sure EB could make some tweaks to the original designs and call it his own. You would think?

Damn... just answered my own question.

06-21-2010, 06:08 PM
Patent is only good for seven years though. Correct me if I am wrong but the patent is about to expire.

06-21-2010, 10:34 PM
Love my bike, but want the b-2......will they take trade ins?:p

06-22-2010, 01:52 PM
ok the interview only gos up the the 5min30sec mark, wheres the rest??

06-22-2010, 02:23 PM
It should go like 7 minutes.....

06-23-2010, 07:35 AM
It's actually like 14 mins long, the 7 min mark is where May says their will be a 2011 production bike based on the B-2 bike.

06-27-2010, 11:29 AM
grrrr... i dont know why it wont work for me, i tried loading it again an it still stops at 5 min 30 seconds for me, weird!

06-27-2010, 12:24 PM

Jerry C
06-28-2010, 03:42 PM
Harley who?

06-29-2010, 06:47 AM
we are already seeing the parts strain for OEM accessories how long before it comes to the other parts

06-29-2010, 08:07 AM

I know thats going to be huge sell point for me when i cant even get simple bolts any more.
