I just ordered the Jardine Carbin Fibor Exhaust for my 1125R and was wondering if I need to have it tuned to run correctly. The Harley Dealer isn't helpful at all. I would also be interested to know if anyone has the exhaust installed on your bike... thanks, Mike!

Your bike will probably be fine with just the slip-on.

With that said, proper tuning will always improve performance and the longevity of your engine.

EBR has a race ECM tuned for FMF and HMF pipes. I dont think they arent much different than the Jardine.

Jardine RT-5 Carbon Fiber slip-on (http://www.biohazardcycles.com/servlet/the-4675/JARDINE-RT5-CARBON-EXHAUST/Detail)

I ordered it from a company called Biohazard Cycles for $450. I haven't received it yet as I just ordered it yesterday.

Is there someone that does the tuning or do I have to buy the kit myself?

just email EBR ask if they have a race tuned ecm for the jardine with pump gas.
I bet they do when i went there the mule bike had a jardine on it.
They have a map for the Barker exhaust since i took mine there for them to tune.
if not the generic race map is quite good

EBR ecm + Jardine + K&N = awesome. It actually runs fine with just the slip-on and stock ecm.

**I AM PRO-JARDINE ALL THE WAY AND USE THE RT5 TITANIUM***

with that being said, I hear the carbon fiber cans fall apart on the 1125's and firebolts. Dont know if there is truth in it, just be aware. BUT Jardine makes good stuff.
