FS: 2009 XB12 Lightning Bolt

Up for sale is my 2009 Buell XB12 Lightning. I've owned this bike for a year now, and as some of you may now, 12 months means time for a new project.

The bike was originally an XB12scg model, with the short tail and the lowered suspension, but I've changed both of those aspects. I've converted the short Lightning tail with an assembly off a Firebolt model. This also included changing both the front forks and rear shock. You'll also see that I added a Jardine Titanium exhaust and CRG bar end mirrors. I've also done the dual headlight-on and the "bad boy" flyscreen mods.

My bike is low mileage (currently on 2,570) and I just changed the oil in the primary and transmission at 2,500 miles. I'm asking $7,500 or Best Offer.

where is the bike located?

The bike is located here on Guam. However, I can help with crating and shipping to pretty much anywhere in the world.

Great looking bike daponik. I'd say the reason you aren't getting any bites is due to location. By the time someone pays for the bike + shipping and tax it will be double the price if not more.

Thanks for the feedback, MSinner. You could be right, but I haven't had anyone even ask for a shipping quote. For example, when I ship my bikes from the states to Guam, it only costs about $600. That is not much more than shipping a bike from New York to California.

Wow i was wrong, $600 isn't bad at all. I paid double that to get mine from Ontario to Newfoundland.

Thanks for the bump and the compliment, onelogue. If the bike doesn't sell in the next few days, I think I'm gonna pick up one of the EBR ECMs to try out. Been some interesting talk about it lately.

Interesting to note. I just checked the Kelley Blue Book today. The bluebook price for this model actually went up this past month from $6600 to $6875. That sounds pretty promising.
