Hey guys, I am about to change my motor and tranny oil and I need to know what is in them. My old Cyclone ran 20w50 in the motor and I have no idea in the tranny.

Please let me know what oils this uses in the motor and tranny.

Thanks,
Dan

Why is it that people cant search to find answers before they ask.

I use Amsoil down here in Florida, but Royal Purple is also a good alternative.... Some people use Screaming eagle Synthetic from Harley, but the two previously named are just as good and cheaper!

Why do people bitch and complain about searching when you could have just typed me the answer. People are ridiculous around here. Someone has a question and it is just use the search function. Hell with searching I asking a question it is easy to answer it if you know the answer.

Just as easy for you to type in the search function... This can go both ways dans03firebolt. You haven't been here as long as some to hear the questions many times over. If you expect everybody to do everything for you, why do you work on your own bike?

I simply asked which oil was in the bike and here we are 10 replies later and no one answered my question yet that is the ridiculousness of this forum sometimes. I already got it answered by my friend that owns a shop as to which I should be running.

Thanks for the help on this. I just needed the tranny question answered for the most part. I was going to run 20w50 in the motor becuase that is what my Cyclone took so I figured the Bolt took the same oil. I just have never changed tranny fluid on a bike before. I didn't know if it took gear oil or motor oil and now I know.

well, sorry i tried to help by showing you what 43 other people use.

they do not all use the same oil...so i posted the threads so you could read up on their pro's & con's and decide for yourself.

i even did the search for you and looked at the topics which would help you the most.

but ok...thx to you too :(

LeFox for some reason when I click on your links it says access denied and I don't know why. I am going to go with Bel Ray Synthetic instead of Royal Purple and I am going to use their synthetic primary oil also. I used bel ray in my old Yamaha Banshee and never had a problem with it so I will stick with it.

Thanks
