Hello all,

I am getting very close to purchasing a used uly. I have found a 06 for 4k and a 08 for 5.8k . What would you get and why? Thanks for any thoughts opinions you can share.

08+ has higher oil delivery etc. If you dig in this forum you will find many nice upgrades to the 08+ engines..

Has reliabilty been a issue on the 06's vs 08+ models? I know of the TPS resets and that it is easier to do on the 08 plus models. Does the TPS really get off that often?

Well purchased a 08 uly and having it shipped home. Downloaded the ecmspy software and been looking through that, looks easy enough since use to TTS and TCFI IID's on HD engines. I see some have mentioned idle issues and some off idle hesitations usely easy enough to tune out.
Thanks for the help site, searching provided some good info in my decision.
