Thanks for the compliments! The bar ends, I like but they are not better for rearview than the stock mirrors.

The PitBull is awesome. It is actually a standard size one, and I scratched my swingarm first time I tried to use it. I spread it out with a bottle jack and it works great. I would suggest the wider Buell specific one, because you can still adjust the ends in to work with a standard bike.

Yes it is an XB cover. I simply ordered a plain white one without "buell" logos and it came with the screen.

Thanks again. You are correct about the pitbull for the 1125 being wider. I would also suggest replacing the stock spools. I bought anodized aluminum ones from Vortex, 6mm IIRC. They are cupped to help align the stand, and of course more trick than the plastic ones. They are reasonable too at $24/pr. Al at American Sport Bike also has some made for the 1125 that I think are less,

You are absolutely right about the shorty levers. I wasn't sure when I ordered them, but from the moment I mounted 'em, no regrets.

One other thing you can't see, $92 worth of black aluminum M6 x 1.00 fairing bolts from Pro Bolt. There are about 50 of those bastards all over the bike. The aluminum ones look better, don't get scratched the first time you take them off, and weigh about 1/3 of the stock steel ones. I did go back to stock with the ones that hold the rear brake master cylinder because they came undone and I am not sure the aluminum will hold the stress of foot brake application.

Those engine covers are worth every penny. They don't have the gloss finish of the other CF but they are tough as steel and lighter than aluminum. They actually "klink" like metal if you tap them.

Lastly, I have been waiting til winter and the exhaust to install it, but I managed to pick up one of the Ohlins TTX shocks American Sport Bike had on sale this spring. I know, I'm a bastard...

They are the Buell wheels. I had no idea what they were intended for, I just found a part number for white wheels. I sourced them from Lakeshore HD. 20% off and free shipping over $200 or $300. They were about $550 shipped for the set. When you can get a set of wheels for less than half of what Suzuki sells one wheel for, why not?

Of course, I spent a bit more on an extra rear pulley, finned front brake rotor and mounting kit from Erik Buell Racing and rear rotor and mounting bolt kits from American Sport Bike to make wheel swaps more painless. Well worth it. So I have an extra set of wheels ready to mount tires and then just swap out when I am ready.

One guy on BadWeb painted his "Orange Crush". It looks sweet on the Diamond Blue frame. Several have done white plastics on the blue frame, even my dealer did it when they were sitting on an '08 before they could get '09's and people kept asking for a white one. It looks awesome to use the original "Buell" badge from the black '08 on white plastic with the Diamond Blue frame. Personally, if I had an '08, I would be looking for any excuse to go bare metal like the race bikes. Another guy had his painted up like a WWII fighter with rivets, bullet holes, nose art and oil stains. VERY cool.

Nice bike and great mods. The EBR exhaust has to be the sweetest one there is. The lightweight battery would be awesome too. I am looking at a new battery for the spring since mine won't charge more than 12.2V after my VR and stator issues. That is a whole lot of cheddar for a battery though... The Adrenaline Moto tail is another nice mod. I think I would like it better with the Free Spirits pod kit rather than the full fairing. It's just me but I think the 1125's look better half faired, especially with an aftermarket exhaust. They look stripped down for business like that IMO.

Since twoguns inspired me, and answered many questions before I bought the SOC cup fairing kit. It seems appropriate to put my first public pics up here. Hope to get some better ones once the sun decides to shine again here in NJ! 90% done, going to lose the hand guards, they were a functional cold weather accessory. Dont really like the look of them that much. Also need to pop my pucks back on. They need to be shaved a bit to accommodate the new fairing kit(need to cover up my boo boo).
I have some aftermarket 20L hard bags to match going on this week hopefully.

triple7 I put yellow bulbs in the outer running/parking light spots in the fairing headlight cluster and ran the blinker wires to them. There is a thread somewhere on here about it- easy mod.

Americansportbike.com has the tank grips, or tech spec has them for sale... they are the manufacturer. The grips keep your legs a little cooler, and keep the paint on the frame from being rubbed by your knees. They also come with a belt guard...

The latest of my bike with full exhaust, EBR ECM, Ohlins shock mounted. Loud, but sounds badass. GSD coated the headers, midpipes and collectors with Tungsten Gray ceramic coating.

Jardine exhaust, race ecm, K&N air filter and zero gravity windscreen..
BUT its already back apart to install a new rectifier, integrated tail light, and ebr triple tree with vortex clip, ons, oh and 4 HID's !!! can't wait for it be done again...
