So you havent gotten it yet? Have you ridden one? I thought the same thing before I picked mine up..more power :). But then after I got it I decided that the power was fine..I just wanted more noise and to do some things to clean it up and sort of "finish" it.

yea, mrdozer, i spose that is what i meant. i was just wondering if there were any tweaks i could do without a whole lot of cash.

top 5:
- race exhaust
- remapped ecm or race ecm
- high flow airfilter
- primairy sprocket (torque kit)
- open airbox

if you have a 12, you get the primairy of the 9 fitted...
this will give you more torque (but less top speed)...for me, that just means, more fun!

for the 9 there's an aftermarket torque kit available.

which parts do I modify in the air box? Do I remove the velocity stack? I have replaced the filter and had my tps sensor reset on my race box.

open the box...

drill holes in the oem box or buy a open box.
there are 'how to' topics on the forum for the open airbox mod.

I bought the Jardine. I read all about how they are not much better then stock if at all. I just wanted it to sound good, so now I have a Buell xb12s thats sounds incredible and 12 lbs lighter. I did notice the loss in the butterfly valve when taking off. But the mid seems to hit a little harder. I think it stayed the same over all, but sounds like a harley instead of a 73 VW Beetle.
