I hope one of you guys could help me find some detailed instructions to reroute my breather ,and open up the airbox. I am no bike mechanic ,but I would like to try it myself in efforts to save some money for future performance upgrades.

Did you search on here? Like I mentioned in the other post. I know the airbox mod is on here. I posted it myself.

Thanks alot for the info as soon as my bike is done at the dealer I'll give a try. One more question for you since you seem to be extremely knowledgeable in the XB field. My dealer is selling me on the idea of doing a "stage one performance upgrade". According to them it entails new exhaust, air filter, tuning, and dyno time. Would any of this help out with my cause or will it hurt?

It will help. The better question is how much it will help. Depends on what exhaust you go with and how you do the tuning. There has got to be a dozen posts on here about exhaust. Look around and see what you can find.
