Hi Guys

I need to change the oil and filter on my 1125r

Is the drain plug the torx plug just under the clutch housing?

Do i have to take the exhaust off?

Does anyone know the location of a pdf workshop manual for the 1125r on the net?

Thanks

Stu

....

You have "two" drain plugs..!

One external hex next to the kickstand, facing straight out (to the left).
And yea, the other one is facing down, under the clutch, next to the little cover on the bottom of the crank case.
That little cover (oil pump inlet) should be checked at least once to verify there is no crap in the screen also.

The one on the left, drains normally while on the kickstand...which should also include the oil filter cavity.
The plug on the right side...the bike needs to be rolled over to the right (about 15 degrees) for a coupla minutes to somewhat properly drain that side.

Note...it can take a while for all of the oil to drain. I normally let mine drain over night from the left side...with the filter out.

No...it's messy...but the exhaust does not have to be removed.
Except for the pump screen removal.

Though you're probably looking for a Service Manual .pdf - the Oil change procedure is outlined and illustrated in the Owner's manuals you can access on Buell.com.
