Crashed my bike yesterday on my way to my track day!
Cracked the clutch cover, mirror, hand grip, brake lever, and scratched the hell outta the bike.
It was the worst day of my life!

I am fine, I walked away with no injuries at all.
I was riding down a road going about 55mph n I didnt see this huge rock in the road until it was too late, I hit it, lost control of the front wheel, then hit a curb. Luckily I landed on the grass other wise I would've been messed up probably. and I was wearing a helmet too.

That's good that you're ok. Did you get to take it around the track at all? Where was this?

PS, I just want to say that pointing out the fact that you were wearing a helmet shouldn't need to be said. One should ALWAYS wear a helmet.

Anyone know of any replacement radiator cowl covers?
Thats basically the only thing that is really messed up now and I would like to get a new cover.

No i didn't get to take it around the track, the bike was leaking clutch fluid and had to be towed to the nearest harley to get repaired.
and I always wear a helmet when i ride, i just know most people in chicago dont.
and i was going to Joliet Autobahn in Illinois

I orderd some of these from a harley dealership right after i got the bike any dealership can get them shipped. for about the same price. i think i spent $40 on each side.

Im glad your ok man. my first spill was only about 20 mph. but the weight of a harley on my leg at 20 did some pretty nasty dmg to my knee.

safe riding in the future.

Definitely sucks but the bike doesn't look too bad. I've done way worse to bikes and still can't consider those the worst days of my life so you must be doing pretty well otherwise.[up]

Yea this was my first crash and it was horrible.
probably the scariest moment of my life.
I fixed basically everything but the radiator covers, thanks for the link Dave, i will most likely order that very soon! I also want to get sliders for my bike but everyone keeps telling me they dont make it for my bike.
anyone know of a link for that too? thanks

I believe "crazyhawk99" was the one to set up the last group buy. He may be able to put you in touch with the pelacrash people. Shoot him a pm, asking for info?
