Found these removable inserts, I have no experience with them but thought these might be beneficial to those with a loud exhaust that want it to be loud on short rides and more enjoyable on long rides.

hmm...gives me an idea. Going with 2 of these from McMaster:

Then I just need to drill and tap two more holes to mount each, plus set screws. Then, above 8 tapped holes in the face to add/remove sound on demand. Maybe some anodized thumbscrews like the back of my computer case.

Scroll down at the D-B Dawgs website, they offer accessory "leash" for your "dawg". :)

Remember Snuf-R-Nots on Honda SuperHawks in the Sixties?

Nice find! Especially for the price but they don't offer leashes lol

Snuf-R-Nots device would be simple to fabricate, too. Here's a picture link. (http://www.dansmc.com/Exhaust_4.htm)
Maybe better if disk has a pivot on both sides of outlet pipe on on big-twin exhausts, like XB.
