This is a free mod. Disconnect the linkage rod, flip of the thingy (can't think of the name of it, need sleep) so that where the rod attaches is now on the other side, adjust the turnbuckle to make rod longer, reattach.

I did this to my bike and it only takes a few minutes to do it should look like this when you're done.http://www.buellxb.com/buell_images/1123_20071107191413_L.jpg

Thanks EVLTWN for the pic. I was hoping someone would have one to clarify my description. I sooo want to do this to my bike but I know as soon as I get used to the new shift pattern I'll jump on my wifes bike and blow a shift big time!

ha ha! Just flip hers too and make her learn the superior way! I do know what you mean those as riding my old yz 125 after took extra thinking not to screw up a shift.

Hey EVLTWN what kind of exhaust is that you have on your bike? is that the factory race exhaust, do you know where you can buy those from?

It is the factory race exhaust. I was lucky enough to pick up the last one right from my dealer. Try ebay or call your dealer and have them run a search. You can still find them you just gotta be lookin' in the right place at the right time.

This would probably be the most difficult to adjust to for me. Nice collection of bikes though! Got any pics?
