Sorry to let her go, especially after she evolved to exactly what I wanted her to be. With the birth of my first child last month, the wife says the fleet has to be trimmed (and so does the bank). Bike is in Central Florida, just north of Orlando. Asking $5,200 OBO.

Personally if I was you I would just try to, well if you have them, throw on stock plastics and remove as much CF as possible, levers, lights, seat, cluster cover, muffler, rear sliders and the Bars, then sell that all seperate and the bike as close to stock as possible you have a lot of bolt up stuff so taking it off would be easy, and selling the bike stock will only drop your value a little[up]

Best looking 9 I've ever seen. Truly bad ass. If it was on the west cost I'd have a buyer for it tomorrow.

Very nice bike. I'm sure for the price your asking it will be sold in no time. If you do decide to part with a few CF goodies PM me.

I am in AWW, thats the best xb9 i have ever seen to. I want to hug it. I love it. I love all the choices you made. You have got to find a way to keep it. Are you out of your mind? If nothing else drop your insurence and park it under a tarp. It will cost you nothing just to sit there. If your kid ever finds out that you sold a bike like that they will be disapointed. I have three kids and I have a Buell XB. That bike is part of you. You will never forgive yourself.

Thanks a lot for the responses, fellas. Reading your posts and looking at the pictures really does make me rethink why I would sell her. I've had a bad habit of selling toys when I get bored with them, and then regretting it later, as brightbuell just hit on the head. I've got an 1125R and MV Agusta F4 1000R that I've been playing with more lately, so I guess I'm just being stupid.

I appreciate the advice about parting it out. I sold the stock plastics a long time ago as I never planned on needing them. Plus, it would be a shame to deconstruct this beauty. If there is not an appreciative prospective owner nearby, then it doesn't have to go anywhere.

I forgot to mention how much of a runner she is too. here are some pictures from a Smoky Mountain run a few years ago plus a YouTube video through Deal's Gap:

Thank you for taking the flame decals off of the bike.

Best of luck in the sale! With that price and that bike, I'm sure you'll have a buyer in no time.

My hat is off to you. That is one of the nicest XB's on the plantet. If I hadn't just finished my bike, it would be tempting to purchase.

I am relatively new to Buell motorcycles. Is that orange/red ring on your rims something that is actually part of your rim? or is that something you added on, or painted on?

Thanks,
Ervin

at least the left is ASB carbon but from the mountain pictures the left clearly isn't

looks like a tape stripe to me, many retailers even sell them precurved for motorcycle rims and made out of a reflective material like street signs

Thanks for the reply. Now that I know what its called I am finding all kinds of information on it :)

What mm thickness is that on your tires? Just so I have a point of reference.

Thanks,
Ervin
