What do you think about the flat black racing stripes? Some before pics and after. If you don't like it, you can go to hell!
:p

Now you officailly own a cafe racer! (wouldn't be so without customizing) Really brings out those nice curves. Simple, yet dynamic. Nice work!

thats hot!!! i would love to do that to my cr too! i found a guy in my town that makes vinyl graphics and i am going to get the design off the key put into a graphic color is uncertain and put it on the bike on the sides thats just black.

The cost is like $35. I originally ordered double stripes, but found that to be little crowded, taking too much body color out of the bike. The stripes is 4" wide just in case you like to know.[up]

I rule i agree that is hot and the double stripes would look good its a great idea but you like said might take up to much space. thats an awesome idea that i might steal i love it.. Yesterday i went riding with my friends (they ride ninjas) We made a few stops for food and gas and i was the only one that got attention out of all our bikes its an awesome feeling!!! These buells catch attention like i dont what!

Looks GREAT. In my head, I imagine that a thin pinstripe along side the wide stripe would be tits.

one thin stripe.... your bike looks awesome....

BuellDr

ive been thinking about it off and on all day trying to imagine it on my cr and what i think would look hot is two stripes still off center the the Right. You said you did 4 inches... i think make the strips two inches wide and leave a small gap in between what do you think IRULE?

IRULE
09-12-2010, 10:21 PM
Originally, I have the stripes 4" then .25" gap then 4" stripe again. That seems to fit perfectly but too crowded. So, I think anything less then 4" would work really good. To make it off center, 2" might be the way to go. Make sure you send some pictures when you are done. Have fun!

+1 on the pinstripe

also the hand guards dont really go with stripes. they kinda look like floppy ears.

IRULE

Yellow? There's nothing yellow on the bike. Yes, flat black is THE color to match the bike. A thin stripe would be cool. Well, you bitches should do it and make jealous.

Stripe looks good! I might have to give that a shot later.

Quick question, what mirrors / bar ends are those?

http://www.buellxb.com/buell_images/7699_20100915064337_L.jpgGot bored last year and decided to use an old mustang stripe kit I had lying around. Only had enough to do the number plates and windscreen.

The black and white looks really good. Sweet.

The mirrors are from eBay - the $30 version. The bar end are from Acerbis with turn signals.
