how do I get to the spark plug on a 2006 buell blast? Haven't started it for a month, and now won't turn over. Just had full service June 25, new battery, plug, gas, etc.

Update, it does turn over, but won't stay running. when it's idling up, it stalls out

1. make sure the petcock is not in the off position
2. If its in the on postion already try switching to reserve and vice versa. The fuel filter may have a blockage.
3. Should be able to reach the spark plug cap by hand without removing the tank. just make sure its on tight. its on the left side above the cylinder.
4. If you can get it to run for a few seconds at least, pour a little soay water over the entire intake boot to check for leaks.
5. If it was left for a month withoout the petcock in the off position the fuel in the carb may have broken down and gummed up in there. If this is the case you can spray carb cleaner into the air cleaner side of the carb. put the spray nozzle/straw into the two small round brass inlets. Also putting in half a bottle of sea foam in the tank will help to clean everything else out.

Otherwise, it may be a faulty coil.
Let us know if that helps!
