50Dro Axle Sliders - Group buy #2??

Gauging interest on a potential group buy on more sliders. I have to work out the details but here's what I'm thinking:

Black anodized only

Include a design for you 1125 guys too!

$80-$90/set (front & rear axle) shipped to continental US

I have to work out the minimum number of orders needed, the final price, and the delivery but I'm thinking I can have them turned around in 2-3 weeks?

As I said, I'm gauging interest here so let me know what you think and if I see enough interest, I'll get to work on the details![up]

So far I'm at about 8 people interested in an XB set and around 5 for the 1125. I have to inquire with my machine shop to find out how many I have to make to keep the price down. Just to give you an idea, the price nearly doubles at lower quantities:(...I wouldn't expect you guys to want to pay that...I'll probably need in the neighborhood of 20-25 sets (perhaps of each XB & 1125) to keep the prices? I will confirm next week so we can set an actual goal.

Talked with the machine shop today. 2 weeks is a reality but I'm waiting on a quote with quantity breakdowns. I will definitely NEED more 1125 orders to offer those up at a decent price otherwise they might be more...I'll update soon with minimum orders needed and pricing. Not sure if someone other than myself can point them here w/o getting in trouble? Feel free if you think it's cool with them...

On another note...I hope to see a quote from the machine shop any day now that will determine the minimum orders needed (for a reasonable price). I think we have a long way to go to get there. I have 10 people interested in XB sets and only 5 in the 1125. Probably need around 20 of each to make it happen. Once I get the quote, I will firm up the price and set a date that we have to get the order goal target by..stay tuned...

Well...I spoke too soon.

I received the parts today and to say the least, I'm not happy with the finish. I wouldn't put these parts on my bike so I wouldn't feel comfortable or expect any of you to put them on yours. Words can't describe how disappointed I am right now about this! I'm going to give them back to be reworked. I'm hoping (and will push) that this will only delay us by a few more days but I'm just not certain right now. As always, I will keep you posted on here.

Yeah...I heard those emails went out today. That estimate is definitely not going to happen although the tracking numbers will remain the same. All of your boxes are labeled (hence the email) and sitting ready in my garage for the parts to come back to me from the anodizer. I'm optimistic that will happen this week yet but as always I will keep you all posted.

I haven't seen my sliders used for plate mounting before. Please make sure you get enough thread engagement and use the provided threadlocker. Also make sure you take pics:D

Now I'm on the lookout for the bracket. If I'm not gonna find anything I like and that works I'll design my own and let somebody nail it together ;)

i think you should. they are worth the money i paid for sure. i also appreciate that you took the additional time needed to make sure they were done right. I dont see anyone hesitating to purchase these from you. yes they dont make buells anymore, but unfortunately people still go down all the time and thats where your product comes in. after seeing xtremelow's shredded slider and saved swingarm, i wudnt ride without em.

Looks like I should have made more XB sets...I've gotten several requests for them but unfortunately I'm out for now. Feel free to PM me with your interests aand I'll likely be making more just in time for the riding season[up] I also may be including a spoiled rear design so keep your eyes open for that.

did notice that three of the four sliders come to a point and one comes to a flat head. did you notice that at all? all good though.
