Hello all,

I am the proud new owner of a 2010 xb9sx. I am looking to swap my air cover and windscreen Cherry Bomb Red Translucid plastics for someone's Hero Blue air cover and windscreen. Anyone interested?

Do you know if the hero blue parts will fit an '09 XB12Ss? If they will, I'd buy them from you for the right price....

Sondermann is correct.

I have the Cherry Bomb Red platics.

Looking to trade for someone else's Hero Blue plastics.

Also, any one let me know you have some Hero blue plastics for sale as I may be interested in that option as well.

If you end up buying set I may be interested in your red plastics. I have blue now but don't really want to get rid of them.

This (http://www.buelletinboard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16386) might work for you. Or at least get you started in the right direction.

Here is a pic of my bike from October. They are off a '10 with only 700 miles, so they are in pretty good shape. This way you could have two colors :) though im not sure if you have blue wheels or not.

I can take closer pics tonight if u want.

Yeah I forgot about my wheels lol. That seat is nice!

Send me a PM with how much it would take for you to part with your plastics.

The seat is really comfortable. I am considering trading for a select seat though (no one in particular). I think the select seat looks awesome, though I am curious as to how comfy it is in comparison to the corbin, which makes me hesitant.

If the airbox didn't have the X on it i'd trade my hero blue, but it is what it is, sorry !

pretty sure the X is easy to get off, and a lot of people would love to have the X if you'd sell it...

What iman501 said :) I've read that its on by some really good adhesive that people have removed. Not sure how they did it. I'm kind of impartial to the X. I think both ones with the X and without the X look good.

Let me know if you want to trade and remove the X, ill pay for both of our shipping costs :)

The x is fairly easy to remove. My spare cover has one and if I get off my lazy ass i'll do a removal write up. I'd suggest a heat gun from the back side (not too close of coarse) and some plastic spreaders. Worse case is you'll have to do some sanding and buffing but can't be that bad.

No thank you , i'd really rather not mess with removing the X just in case it dosen't come off easily and causes more pain in the butt to make it look good. Thanks anyway!

Have you guys saying the X is easy to get off actually done it, or are you assuming?

The X is a BITCH. It's not the same adhesive as the Buell decals (which just peels off and can be cleaned with alcohol), it appears to be an acitate based glue (HARD, think of super glue) and requires sanding then buffing. Perhaps they used different adhesives throught the different years, mines a 2005 and has this horrible glue (and it's STOCK, so NO no one else glued it). Heat does nothing, like I said, razor blade it thinnner, then sand, then buff. Best case use a super glue softener, but your still going to have to polish it after words.

Still looking for anyone interested in trading.

Also wouldn't mind trading rims as well. I have black, would be looking for hero blue.
