Lol I was already watching that one. Thanks for the lead tho. Does the X-brace come off the airbox cleanly or are there mounting holes? Also would that airscoop fit my 09 scg?

It is glued on, i have heard you can use piano wire to pry it off, but when I tried it looked like crap, ur better off buying one without it..

That looks good and I like the price. How will that work since it doesnt have the front vent like my stock airbox? Just curious.

You can remove the one from your airbox cover and swap them out. Just takes a razor knife to cut the plastic plugs and some plasti weld ( Autozone, home depot) to reattach to the new cover. I had mine swaped out when I traded plastics from a newer bike.

I have a fender, chin fairing, air-box (w/ CF Style Buckle Guard), and heel guards.

Shoot me a reasonable offer and they are yours. here is a shot of them all.

I've also seen people cut out some of that part around the gap cap and glue some metal mesh behind it to make your own vent. Usually looks pretty good.

Not sure if this is what your asking but, The older bikes received air through the left scoop which led up through the frame/tank into the air box. On Newer bikes the left scoop flows air to the cylinders and has no hole in the frame.

Yup thts what im talking about. I see that the hole is closed on my frame so I will def need the vent :|
