I'd just throw it on ebay and hope for around $4500-$5000, but that may be a bit optimistic with 10k miles.

i know i'm a 'noob' poster, but i've been watching firebolts on eBay (previous m2 tuber owner - in the market for an XB12R) and it looks like a lot of '08 and newer owners are setting reserves in the upper 5s or 6s.

haven't seen one sell yet, though it looks like maybe the guy w/that black/red firebolt w/700 miles may have just gotten his 'buy it now' price of $6,500.

good luck - that's a pretty crazy lookin' machine.

Yeah I feel bad that I put over 10k on my odometer in the last 9 months but I didn't buy it to.let it sit. Sux that it depreciates it so much

Funny how people come on here and comment about mileage. Only young punks that want to finance think about mileage. The last time I looked these weren't made for the Christmas tree. They were made to ride! Who the Hell buys a bike and watches the miles. It's not a lease! When I'm in the market to buy, I consider mileage first, then overall condition. It says a lot about a rider/owner if the bike looks pristine and has more than 10k miles...Long winded thoughts, good luck with the sale.

Greenemac2003 -- BIKE A--- 2006 xb12s mint cond. 12500 miles $ 6500
BIKE B--- 2006 xb12s mint cond. 1200 miles. $ 6500
Which one you gonna buy since you don't care about mileage?
Just curious.[smirk]

mileage and bike prices are crazy. I bought my 2009 XB12Scg brand new in march for 7500 from the dealer. it has 2500 miles on it now and I could maybe get 6000 for it or so. and in a year or 2 after it has 5000+ miles I could still probably get 6000 for it. I wanted to buy it new just so I knew how it was maintained and treated, I know I could have got one with low miles for around $5000 but I would rather pay the extra and get it brand new.

I said I consider mileage guys, it's not always my top concern! Absolutely I would buy a bike with lower miles in mint condition. Sorry for jacking your post Josh909

I think the bike looks & has all you could want for an every day bike to ride. I am startin to see many Buells hittin the market. It will be many years before you see it come back up, to where you can get what a Buell is really worth. I Am keeping both of mine. A lot of guys/gals are really going back to jap type sport bikes, for the power range depending on what you own. You have to do some real work to make a Say an XB12R like mine fast in a straight line. And thats where I had to spend Nearly 3000.oo and being a motorcycle guy all my life, I built a screamer . NO turbo needed. 167 hp is all i got w/ that. Lost about 9 miles to the gal. doing that. But the suprise look from Jap., bikers is,OK w/ me . Not everyone is a Tech., so jap/Italy/& other models ready to go. Easy on the eyes & fast off the shelf. No work needed!

Seriously Josh? Can we lose the all caps? I'm not trying to be a dick, it's just irritating and hard to read.

Good looking bike though!(the Buell) I've always like the blue/white.

Can we lose the all caps?

Maybe he's expressing his emotion through the art of text. He's probably mad that he's so comfortable. I myself prefer a futon or pull out.

Part out the mods and go back to stock. I don't mean this to be insulting, but it's a little too personalized. I think people like to start with a stock bike and do their own touch of "flavor". I think you could make more money by splitting it all up.
