I guess I'm part of the gang now :D

Soon to have: lower seat, tail tidy, smaller indicator's and breather mod, then it'll be ready.

Just waiting for the buyer to come pick up my old DT, will be sad to see it go.

Bike looks great. I've got the red one but I always think the blue works really well. That's a good start for work on the bike, but I doubt you'll be ready when you get done with those. Before you know it you're gonna grabbing mirrors, an exhaust, some new bars, and everything else you can think of!

haha, ive promised myself not to go all out on this bike, i spent a ton of cash on the DT supermoto'ing, was good fun but im going to try keep this one stock(ish), might possibly get an exhaust after the winter.

Go really slow on the mods. A lot of people do all of them over one winter then they start looking for even more to do. Personally, I limit myself to just a few mods a year so that I can enjoy tinkering with the bike.

Thats a really nice looking bike. Welcome to the family.

haha, ive promised myself not to go all out on this bike:D HAHAHA believe me we all said the same thing HAHAHA! Mods are addictive,
. Before you know it you're gonna grabbing mirrors, an exhaust, some new bars, and everything else you can think of! Don't forget about the shorty levers! 50$ gsxr levers and a slight mod to the levers and you'r golden. I just got these levers and I love them hahah. Just something to think about.

Look on ebay for 97-03 gsxr shorty levers they are the best bang for the buckhttp://www.buellxb.com/buell_images/3426_20101024001834_L.jpg
then go to the DIY MOD thread on this site and look for Daves videos. Dave did a sweet video on how to mod these levers to make them work/fit our bikes!
2 [up][up]to Dave again!!:D

Yeah, sure. I said the same thing. Bought the bike during the fire sale, and figured I had a relatively small investment I could enjoy, since the bike didn't need anything. I added the frame pucks and subtracted the stickers and reflectors. Then a couple of inexpensive billet bits from Precision Engineering...then I got bored during the winter.

Good luck with that "try to keep this one stock" thing. Especially if you hang out at this place.

BTW, welcome, and nice pics of the bike!
