in all aspects, the lightning looks and feels the part of a true street fighter. is it a REAL street fighter though? can you pull wheelie after wheelie? stoppie after stoppie. how good is it? will it hold up to abuse? would like to hear from the hardcore readers how the bike holds up.

thank you

That bike will do any of that stuff. Only thing is you have to keep the long stoppies to a minimum, due to the fact the the oil is in the swingarm and it starves the engine while in a stoppie. Its the perfect set up for wheelies though. Gobs of torque to get the front up and keep it up. Only thing you might want to consider is doing a custom chain conversion set up with a large sprocket on it. You will have to design and fab it yourself, but with the right gearing, the front comes up without any effort. You would lose you top end considerably due to this, but it would be a purpose built bike by then [smirk]

how does the belt react to wheelies compared to a chain?

Mine stands up just fine. My bike stands up daily on the way to and from work. A lot more precise than a chain set up with out the setting tension and lubing. You just cant beat the longevity of a chain though under extreme abuse.

Do you have to do any maintenance to a belt? Lube? Armorall? Anything?

None required by Buell.... other than checking tension and condition
