Hello people!

Finally I find my Bueeeel and I am glad to be a part of Buell community here on BuellXB.com, as I got a lot of help from you guys... It was such a good story how I find my bike. I live in Croatia Europe, I drove 2000 km to get it (I bought it in Italy), it was the last one waiting for me. :) But there ware many twists in story...

So I just wanted to introduce myself and my new bike! It is such a nice bike! I like the riding position and maneuvering the best!

Here are some photos.

Taking the bike home... +goofy happy face haha

.. now an old one. This was 6-7 years ago at IMOT fair in Germany... Too young to die, I was destined to have a Buell :

Congrats RSV Factory!!!:)

I can only imagine how happy you are to catch your dream.
Once in the Spring 2009 I have been to Croatia in Zagreb and Split. My family roots are in this country (from Politsa near Split). Nice country and Adriatic Sea.

If I understood correctly that bike is brand new?
Have your fun and post about your every mod!

Hey SonderMann,

Yeah it's brand new, and also the price was fantastic! So the whole package story was such a nice episode... Epic.

...Croatia is nice there are great landscapes and sea is very clean, especially the islands.

...modes are in plan, first the nice deep bass sound, I can't wait to insert a soul to this "monster". :)

edit: I see you are from Ukraine. Well my last name - Golenko is Ukrainian roots. funny...

More than funny bro:) It is very nice to hear that we have something else in common in addition to Buell addiction ;).
Perhaps you speak in russian? That would be a surprise:D

I am true happy for your real deal[up]
Hope I will find my 1203 fortune also.

As to the Muffler I really like the Freespirits headers look like. However my favourite pipes are Remus/Sebring (sad they are too expensive though street legal) D&D and Buell Factory Race Pipe. Hawk is awesome but to far from Europe. So I understand your choice which is nonrandom - Termignoni or Freespirits. It is a quality products and are produced also close in Italy. In fact most of pipes (except the quiet stock) produce a good sound since the V-Twin Thunderstorm Engine does sound good. It is only up to you to decide which one is better for you. Speaking about your choice (FS or Termi) none of them would be a loss.

As soon as you will have your pipe installed DO NOT HESITATE TO POST A YOUTUBE CLIP:)

Thanks for your reply and best of luck!!![up]

Thanks guys!

@SonderMann - I like Termi but can't find person who can tune my ECM! If someone from you guys can help me tune it, I'd be more than happy to compensate for your effort if you help me out. ;)

@GatorBuell - haha!! When I saw bike and realized it is mine, i just wanted to ride it!!!! I ordered Kick Ash black transparent components (Airbox + Flyscreen) and then we will see. I like black matte color, but I think with Kick Ash I will be satisfied.

Hey guys!!!

I completed my mod! I like it a lot, and here is what I did:
- Torque Hammer with ECM tune from twinmotorcycles.nl (you can read my review here http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Buell-Lightning-XB12S-XB12Ss-CityX-XB12Scg/Buell-aftermarket-parts/Torque-Hammer-2-slip-on-exhaust

- Rizoma back end
- Rizoma dynamic mirrors
- Rizoma track 77 black indicators
- Kick Ash airbox cover + fyscreen
- Flip-flop plate holder (plate is hidden and if the cops stops me I can flip it to normal position with hand while driving. But I prefer to loose them hehe :D
- belt cover taken off
- passanger foot holder taken off + my personal caps added :)

Welcome to the Buell crowd and well done on your bike man.

It's so sleek looking now with the tidy rear end and overall blackness.

Whoa, that's one mean looking Buell there! All-black looks stunning on Buells.

Now... could you also tell us more about that flip-flop plate holder, please..? :D

XB12SX now there's something you don't see over here in the states. great looking bike, what did you do with the hero blue plastics? how do you like the torque hammer? does it sound mean?[up]

RSV Factory
04-20-2011, 07:10 AM
thanks guys! I like it a lot also. :D

Flip-Flop holder is basically very primitive hinge system (closet doors) and metal holder. As in Croatia we have ugly plates, huuuuge ones like A4 paper format the metal holder (above the plate) needs to be very small.

edit: I wanted to do it electronically to be activated on a push of a button, but eeeehhh, maybe in winter time... :p

@JOEL9 - I still got hero blue parts, I think I will keep them... at least for now.

My Torque Hammer review is here:
http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Buell-Lightning-XB12S-XB12Ss-CityX-XB12Scg/Buell-aftermarket-parts/Torque-Hammer-2-slip-on-exhaust

It's not too loud but very nice compact sound. I still need to do drive-by video... I will do it soon...

Very cool pic.[up] looks like it has hit your tire a few times:D. what kind of steering dampener do you have?

RSV Factory
04-20-2011, 07:26 AM
yeah, it did, but I don't care haha! Most of the time it is hidden, only when I am passing custom to onother country then I flip it... As everything on Buell is very close, it's just small touch with hand.

I have LSL steering damper, I have it turned on maximum (most hard) and honestly I don't understand guys saying that steering damper is not needed (only for track they are saying). I think steering damper is A MUST, as it gives you more reaction from front end, which is the biggest problem of our bikes; light front end. Especially in town or sharp turns it gives you perfect results. In long curves (130-140 km/h) front end overcomes the steering damper, but bellow that it is perfect. I recommend it to everyone. [up]
