Was wondering how they attach? Also, I know the Uly runs a different muffler, but is the chin fairing and chin fairing mounts different in some way to accomodate the skid plate?

Anybody here have a sheet metal brake and a hole saw?

I'm sure that amongst us here on the forum somebody could knock out a cool bash guard.

I'm planning to at least cut some poster board patterns when the twelve hour shifts end this spring. From there it should be pretty straight forward.

Are there any members here who know how to assemble a field expedient metal brake? The full size metal shop units are spendy, and it'd be cool to be able to do a few bends at home.

I like Touratech a lot. If you do too, you should get their gear. If you have a different kind of XB though,(non-uly) you might need a custom solution.

There's a bunch of different configurations possible, so it'd be interesting to see peoples individual twists.

Ultra badass points to the guy who can do one out of something exotic like Waspaloy or inconel or Ti.

I'm gonna see if my previous employer (aviation) will let me use the shop to do just that ^^. I dig the look of the Tourtech but not the price and think I could actually improve on the looks. Want to try to keep the chin fairing on as well.
