I just put my deposit on a 2006 xb9. I have been on quads, snowmachines, and dirt bikes but first time on a real street bike. Did I make the right choice going with Buell? Tell me how happy I will be?

You'll love it. I'd like to think Buells are a real, American man's sport bike. My riding buds hate that I have a Buell. They all ride Harleys or Victory cruisers. My Buell just says go, go, go and start some ****. [cool][up]

The more you ride it the better it runs. I made a good choice when I bought mine.

The more I hear the more excited I get. We have a ton of twisty roads that wind through the forest. I live in Alaska so riding season is only 5 months but it should be a wonderful 5 months. I drive about 60 miles throughout the day for my job so i am looking forward to working in the summer.

on your first few rides, your cheeks will start hurting from smiling so much, or at least mine did.

congrats on the purchase

You just made a great decision. I used to have a suzuki motorcycle and it was good but I was getting bored and almost quit riding. I bought my buell and LOVE riding again. have had it 2 years now and it is a blast to ride.

Id tell you if I could describe it but I cant... When you get it home and take it out. You'll know what were all talking about. It's just different and badass in every way. It's A freakin BUELL!

the ultimate hooligan bike, IMO. ride it sensibly and maintain it religiously and they're bomb-proof. ride it like a wildman with blatant disregard for what it is and you'll be on a first name basis with your local Buell tech....if there's one in your area.:D

they're about the most fun you can have on 2-wheels, especially considering the reasonable buy-in price.

You bought a bike without research? [confused]

There are a few known issues due to the nature of HD v-twins, but the good thing is they are super easy to work on. It's not nearly as fast as a GSXR or CBR, but they are super agile and a blast to ride not to mention the sound!! They have loud valve trains and "huffing" intakes, they redline @ 7200 rpms...But They are a pure Joy!! You can brag about how your fuel is in your frame and your oil is in the swing arm!!

This is funny! I saw it when MrFantastic responded and caught the date and couldn't believe how many went along with it. FUNNY!

5 years ago i tried to buy an XB9 Buell but the cheat who was selling it stoled my deposit and skipped town.
In actuality i'm glad it happened because Buells disgust me, i hate this site, and loathe LunaticFringe.

warm regards,
