onelogue -- Have you ever taken a Micron pipe apart? They are kinda scary looking welds inside.

I had one sent to me for repairs because it rattled. As I recall, there was only ONE weld holding the X-pipe to the front end cap. All the rest were broken.

Yeah, this is from _inside_ the shell, that is _daylight_ there. They had only welded about 3/4" on each side of the inlets.

This is after the repairs were done inside.

Wow not impressed! Good point there, seems like they cut corners to get the pipe out the door faster. I know the headers tend to crack too.

But to add to this thread.... Yeah EBR has a recommended ECM for the micron, i believe it is the drummer ECM... but definitely ask EBR.

Well, since they're out of business, I do repairs on them. That particular one, almost everything was broken inside, plus the owner wanted wideband O2 bungs welded on, so that added another $30 for parts to the bill. I think the total was $300 for everything, which I guess sounds kinda steep, but I TIG welded damn near everything inside and then repacked it with Silent Sport packing and stainless wool.

Stuff like D&D or Jardine, I don't want to mess with since they're still around.

I also do custom stainless exhaust builds for 1125's and XB's.
