View Full Version : Member upgrade?

Is there a member upgrade option that expands a users options?

I'd like to be able to post several pics in a thread and it appears I'm limited to 3.

I have no problem contributing/donating to the site.

.....an option to loose the ads?

Doesn't look like I have a limit on pictures I can post, maybe you got on a moderators bad side, haha. There aren't any membership upgrades though, you'll just have to figure out why your pictures are getting cut off.

You can post as many pics as you wish.

downsize ur pics

02-08-2011, 03:07 PM
You think that is it?

I'm posting from photobucket so they are all dimensionally the same size. I'm sure KB wise they differ.

so they are all dimensionally the same size

Yeah, they are. Reduce them a bit.

don't load from fotobucket but use the picture feature buellxb offers and you'll be able to load as many pics as you want ;)

The photobucket route has been working fine. It was my initial few posts that wouldn't allow more than 3 pics. Maybe a anti-spam feature in the software? :D

What are your times at the strip?

02-09-2011, 07:40 AM
Embarrassing slow! I ran out of season last year as my goal was to run mid 9's on a stock motor. I clicked off a 10.002. I added my two stage limiter the last outing and just couldn't get traction launching at 9k. I should be able to hit 9.60's as is.

With that said I have started on a dedicated drag bike/motor combo. Shooting for a little quicker than 9's!

I will start the season off with my street bike and get into the 9's on a stock motor. I say that like that is a goal but the truth is the race bike probably won't be ready! ;)

10s thats about 130mph? Good Luck keep us posted fun to know!Bike looks tuff![up]

02-09-2011, 08:53 AM
I average 133 with a best of 138 MPH through the traps in 5th gear. 1.51-1.52 60' times spinning. I've been trying to get my 1/8th mile MPH up. I'm just under 110 now. A 115 MPH 1/8th should net me my 9.6?.

02-09-2011, 09:12 AM
Thats awesome, put a slick on you'll get there.wonder if you had cr gearing how much your times would change?

02-09-2011, 09:27 AM
I'm beyond CR gearing now (I made 6 gear changes for the belt). CR is 27/76, 2.81 and I'm 26/76, 2.92. I have a 25 front for a 3.04.

I have... 25, 26 and 27 fronts with a 72 and 76 rear.

if you post from photobucket on the top of the thread page then the adds will over lap the pics , where we cant see the entire pic &/or read your post.

I just hate the fact that when you open some forums the advertising is over the post so you can't read it some times.

@crxtasy169 - If everyone would just use the Member's Buell Pics application built into this site we wouldn't have any images or posts running into, below or above any of the ads. This will always be a problem with a fixed width forum. The logo is just a watermark designed to give credit to the image host. We pay over $300 per month for hosting because of the traffic volume and image hosting on this site. It's all of our money. What I have to spend on hosting comes directly out of giveaways, how to videos and site upgrades. As long as the logo on images drives some back to this site we get more visitors which turns into more ad dollars.

I've talked to my programmer about automatically resizing large images hosted on other sites that run over or under the ads, but he keeps telling me there are problems making it work right. If any of you are programmers or know a good one that has a solution for this, please PM me.

puzzled...i may be working good for you, but photobucket doesn't keep your pictures forever and all we end up with is a forum with a bunch of red crosses.

I pay for my photobucket account as I have thousands of pictures hosted. It sucks but it works for me.
