Ill do custom paint for you. I wont charge you an arm or a leg either. I have a spray booth in my basement. LOw over head! I use special paint for plastics. The two tone is difficult and more expensive. Just straight black though and I could give you a great deal. Shipping would'nt be too much either. Plastic is light.
Here is my bike
Pm me if you want my phone #

Don't forget to post something on craigslist. My bike was yellow when I got it. I found someone on craigslist, met him in a parking lot, we swapped bodywork and went on our way.

hey jobe... the good thing about the plastic is its colour molded... so no stone chips. ;)

Jobe: Your Airbox cover looks killer. I like the air vents. Right now, I'm leaning towards keeping stock plastics because of what twoguns was talking about. If I don't get anyone interested in trading, I may be interested in having you do some paint work. [cool]

i would trade if you had the wheels to match the plastics. that color doesnt look right with the amber wheels though. its looks killer on nitto's bike

I am a little concerned about this as well. I did apply 6 coats of paint and 6 coats of satin poly. I am doing one more coat of high strenght uv poly when I get around to it.

Just keep lookin for the color you want. I traded my black to a BuellXb member for his yellow. shipping was about $100 but that included enough insurance ($1000 coverage) to cover buying new plastics if somthing happened. Have you tried the other 2 buell forums? Craigs list is a good place to check also......You may find someone selling a bike that will swap plastics with a lil cash on your part.

Hey jobe, do you give "happy endings" too? Get a real job man, and quit trying to get rich from this forum. If you have been doing this kind of work for as long as you say you have, then you wouldn't be trying to "pimp" your skills on this forum. Word of mouth is the best kind of advertisement, not forums.

I appreciate your concern but my intent was to help my fellow Bueller out with a nice paintjob. Im not looking to get rich. Just to paint a bike nicely. Some people appreciate my work. Also...If you havent noticed there's not alot of work for a carpenter in the Midwest. I have to expand my horizons.

Get a real job man, and quit trying to get rich from this forum. He's a Bueller offering to paint another Bueller's bike probably cheaper than anywhere else. Plenty of people have done/still do the same on this Forum. There wouldn't be a problem if his name wasn't Jobe.
