View Full Version : WTB or trade for some XB parts for Frankenstein 9R project

I just picked up a rough '03 9R that needs A LOT of misc parts. I'm trying to keep the cost down, and I have a few items I would consider selling or trading toward what I need.

Need: rear caliper with pads and mount, front fairing stay, rear axle, factory turn signals, ignition switch (just need pigtail, so no keys is okay), '03 rear pulley (or newer front pulley, tensioner & belt), speedometer (or just good housing)

Trade or sell: XB Powers stunt cage, '03 9SL seat, '03 lightning center tray (under seat battery mount tray}, new '08 and up big oil cooler, '03 9R F & R cylinders & pistons

Stuff I'd like, but don't NEED: front wheel (prefer silver or black), Firebolt plastics (consider any bits), oil lines '03-07 (all), bronze oil pump gear, XB full gasket set, kick stand, forks (not low), good rear XB head

I have some stock turn signals off of 03 lightning I'm willing to sell.

Magic, PM sent on the signals....I probably need the shorter Firebolt signals?

I also have a street fighter front fairing / headlight assembly wired for an XB, with mounts, available for sale or trade.

Here are a couple pictures of my new '03 9R project. As you can see it is missing a bunch of stuff. I have some pieces, like a set of plastics with bedliner texture. It is the little stuff that is going to take some searching.

I don't have keys for it so it is gonna be awhile before I can even check out the engine or open the gas cap.

Thanks guys for your help with some of your spare parts to help get it going.
